"Well this is pretty!” Katherine and Nitmiluk Gorges

Image
I AM JUST A ROCK. NOTHING TO SEE HERE. Katherine is quite pretty. Very pretty. The park is pretty. The gorge is pretty. The reception is pretty, which is greatly appreciated. Finally we can talk to people! But that's besides the point, back to business! The BIG4 caravan park we're staying at is very neatly kept, and you know a place is nice when the sprinklers change location every half hour! Though while the park is beautiful, it doesn't feel as tropical as Mataranka, in my eyes anyway. It's still warm all throughout day and night, that hasn't changed, but there isn't as many palm trees and all that relaxing stuff. However, just because this location hasn't fulfilled my dreams of palm trees EVERYWHERE doesn't mean it there's nothing to do, yesterday, we canoed down Katherine Gorge, which was definitely as sight to see... Greenery spilled from the crumbling crevices in the harsh rock, painting a sight to grasp your eyes and never let go. Well done if

GIGA MEGA ENORMOUS BLOG! Kulgera, Uluru, King's Canyon, Alice Springs, Mataranka, & Katherine.

Sir King Mataralice, leader of Kulgera, has arrived at Uluru. What a fantastic headline, huh? If you didn't realise, it's a mashup of Kulgera, Uluru, King's Canyon, Alice Springs and Mataranka. Yay. So today is of course another GIGI BLOG. But from now on whenever we don't have reception, I'll draft up some blogs instead, and then post 'em all when we have reception, but enough blibber blabber, let us begin! Kulgera Kulgera is another stop-off between Coober Pedy and Uluru, like all the other stop-offs, there isn't much to say her, EXCEPT for the fact that the pub's roof and walls were covered in bras and underwear... yeah. - Kulgera Bar - Uluru Uluru? What's Uluru? I'm kidding. It's very famous, for a reason that I soon realised. You see, I though Uluru was the height of three mansions stacked on top of each other, but I was  way  off! Uluru is  massive!  It's almost the size of this blog, if this blog was titled; massive,   enormous,

BIG BOY BLOG! Spud's Roadhouse & Coober Pedy

Spuddie's Opals. Hello peoples! I'm so, so, SO sorry for how long it's been since a blog post, the reception at the last few places would drive one of those story-typical phone obsessed teenagers mad! You know the ones I'm talking about, the, "Oh my god! I just got, like, 50 likes on my Instagram post, I'm like, so, rich! IDK if I'll be able to spend it all in my whole life!" I'm not sure if anyone like that exists, but people make 'em up a lot. Anyway, to make up for the multiple blogs from the forgotten lands, this is a GIGA BLOG. Let us begin! Spud's Roadhouse. Spud's roadhouse is, obviously enough, a roadhouse. We only stayed there for one night as a stop over because the drive to Coober Pedy from Flinders Ranges was too long to do in one shot. There really isn't too much to say, it was a small little park on the side of the road, with some bathrooms, a mini mini mini gym, some information boards, and a funny little... uh... r
