TRIPLE BANGER!!! Chickens, Planes, and Dinosaurs! [Tambo, Longreach, & Winton]

Image
Our chicken is USELESS!      Hi! Cooper snooper here. This blog is on three locations, because I just learned the other day that 3 is greater than 1. There's no particular reason, it's not like these places are linked or anything, it's simply because we didn't stay at any of them for very long, so I'm putting them together to create an even larger pile of garbage for you to read. LET'S BEGIN. Tambo Tambo was a lil' town that we stayed at for 1 night after Charlotte Plains. It didn't have anything too special about it, except for one thing. Before dinner, we went to Ben's Chicken Racing. Like the name suggests, there was 12 chickens - all dyed different colours - racing laps around the Schnitzel Stadium. They all had very stupid names, like Apricot Chicken, who I promise is named after her dye colour and nothing else.  You could bet on a chicken, so we bet on "Sparkles" who was absolutely USELESS! 😡😡😡 #OurChickenRacerWasReallyBad Cheati...

If You Thought Lake Boga was Big... [Lake Argyle]

Image
Omigosh. This is massive.   Those were my first words when we arrived at this place. If you've been reading my blogs then you'll know that I thought Lake Boga was really huge. Now seeing Lake Argyle, Lake Boga looks like a fly. Seriously, this lake was gigantic. But getting the size out of the way, it was beautiful.  We stayed at the Lake Argyle Resort, and just to be specific about the one I'm talking about, it's the one with the famous, super instagram-able infinity pool. It's the one with Steve Case, the musician, performing "Hot Potato" every night at the bar. It's the one with all the pretty frangipanis. Y'know, it's that one which is the ONLY RESORT THERE. Like everywhere, it was warm 24-7, (I'm going to stop saying that,) and had live music every night - Steve Case - who likes to sing "Big Red Car" for an audience completely made up of adults. We took a boat tour onto the lake, saw the sights, and swam...  with TWENTYFIVE T...

This is the Biggest National Park I've Ever Seen! ~ Kakadu National Park

Image
Kakadu! Kakadu National Park is enormous. Ab-so-lut-ely massive. Seriously, 25,000 SQUARE kilometres?!?! Big park.  If you didn't know, dogs aren't allowed in National Parks so we had to drop off Jaz at a dog-sitter. We stayed at two different spots in Kakadu, so keeeeeep reading! First Stop Our first stop in Kakadu had no power or electricity, so we rationed water while the solar panels on our roof soaked up the sun. We participated in a boat tour here and saw an abundance of crocs! We were lucky to have Dennis as our tour guide, who was super funny, but he's also part aboriginal too, so he knows the facts. "That over there will kill ya, that'll eat ya, and if you're not dead yet then you'll soon be drowned," Nice. 👌 - Croc... - - Bigger Croc... - - *caption writer leaves the room* - We also went to Maguk, a big waterhole filled to the brim with freshies! But freshies don't hurt humans... right? We had to climb over a bunch of rocks and do a bit ...
