BIG BOY BLOG! Spud's Roadhouse & Coober Pedy

Image
Spuddie's Opals. Hello peoples! I'm so, so, SO sorry for how long it's been since a blog post, the reception at the last few places would drive one of those story-typical phone obsessed teenagers mad! You know the ones I'm talking about, the, "Oh my god! I just got, like, 50 likes on my Instagram post, I'm like, so, rich! IDK if I'll be able to spend it all in my whole life!" I'm not sure if anyone like that exists, but people make 'em up a lot. Anyway, to make up for the multiple blogs from the forgotten lands, this is a GIGA BLOG. Let us begin! Spud's Roadhouse. Spud's roadhouse is, obviously enough, a roadhouse. We only stayed there for one night as a stop over because the drive to Coober Pedy from Flinders Ranges was too long to do in one shot. There really isn't too much to say, it was a small little park on the side of the road, with some bathrooms, a mini mini mini gym, some information boards, and a funny little... uh... r...

Swan Hill & Lake Boga. (Or BOGER.)

Image
Swan Hill, the home of Lake Boga. Okay, this is officially then prettiest place so far . In the morning, look out the club lounge window and BAM! Lake Boger. Alright, alright, I know it's actually called Lake 'Boga', but Boger is so much better. Either the lake is massive, or I've just never seen a normal sized lake. So it's massive. We were going on a bike ride around the edges of the lake, but it was very uncomfortable because my bike is definitely too small, so I tried out my Mum's E-Bike for a bit. "I don't really feel much of a difference, I'm not going any faster," "Try pressing the arrow button," "I did, still nothing!" "The UP arrow silly," "Oh okay," *PRESSES THE BUTTON* zoom -=+=- zoom "My god this is fast!" We also went into New South Wales twice!  For about two minutes, we crossed the bridge and then crossed back.  On one night, we were all starving and couldn't be bothered coo...

Heathcote ~ Gaffney's Bakery

Image
Baking Up Some Smiles Hungry. No one likes being hungry, not that I know of anyway... After arriving at Heathcote; our third location on the Big Lap, we were HUNGRY. Luckily, angels from the heavens blessed us with... drumroll please... Gaffney's Bakery. Honestly I don't really know where I'm going with this. But if we skip ahead past all my weird attempts to write something cool and get to the point, Gaffney's Bakery was A W E S O M E . I say, "Awesome," like it's a theme park or something, but it is just a bakery. But that bakery is not a bakery that is referred to as, "Just a bakery," so please ignore that fact that I just referred to it like that. This was a massive bakery and the food was very nice, especially the pies. I'm sure my Dad would agree, but then again my Dad agrees any pie is nice, even Melted Crayola & Twig Pie! "As long as they're pies, they get five out o' fives" - Dad. The bakery had great drinks,...
