Ranges are High, Power is Low

Flinder's Ranges and Turning Troubleshooting Pages. So far, Flinder's Ranges hasn't been the best. Sure, we've done some fun stuff, we've played some games, watched some things, but ALL of that was inside because so far it's been straight raining. Okay, maybe not STRAIGHT raining, but still quite a bit. One thing we did outside of the soggy sad splashy site was go to the almighty, WILPENA POUND!!! Alright, alright, we've only seen the outer rim of it at the time of writing, but we're planning on heading into it tomorrow. Also, for anyone who is following along, sorry for how late this blog was, the reception here pretends it's 4G but it's definitely not, BUT to make up for that, this Blog now has a new feature, (It may not be new anymore though, depending when you're re

The CQC Scone! So Beautiful... Clare & Miltaro.

Peppa Pig loves jumping in muddy puddles! Guess she would love this caravan park then. 🎵 MUD MUD MUD. MY FOOT IS STUCK IN THE MUD MUD MUD. OUR VAN IS SLOWLY SINKING IN THE MUD MUD MUD. I DO NO LIKE THE MUD MUD MUD! 🎵 Awesome song, right? Anyway we changed sites to a slightly less wet area so I don't have to worry about the MUD MUD MUD. Okay, I'll stop. We haven't done too much yet, but we have visited an old town called Mintaro, and we had the new generation of SCONES: the cqc! Cream! Quince jam! Curd! And all together on a scone is... Honestly pretty bland. The quince didn't really have much flavour, but still I've never had a scone with curd before so there's a point. There may be another blog on Clare in the future, but for now, that's all. BYE! MUD MUD MUD!

The WAITER was a ROBOT CAT?!?! Mildura #2

Image
Boats'n'cats boats'n'cats... Today we hired a pontoon boat, which we cruised down the Murray River. It was really relaxing just to be able to glide along the water, we set up a platter, and just had a good time. The pontoon boat had three couches, and a little lounge bed, so Mum just kept swapping around in order to follow the sun. I did a bit of driving, and also learning about how to use the vlogging kit properly, like we hanged upside down like a bat. BUT the part I liked a lot about today wasn't just the boat, although it was fun, but I liked dinner. We went to a Korean restaurant called, "Seoul," though its pronounced soul, and this place had two very cool. VERY SMART.  ROBOT.  CAT.  WAITERS.  Yep, there were these robot waiters that staff would load food on, and it would come around to your table and drop it off. It also had a cute cat face while doing so. It fell asleep as well which was funny. IT HAD A CUTE LITTLE TUXEDO!!! I've never seen a

Mildura - Last Stop In Victoria!

"Geez, this country town has it all!" "That's because it's not a country town - it's classified a city," "Yeah yeah whatever," Mildura was, or I should probably say 'is', (because we're still here) very interesting, though so far the 'interesting' comes from what we're doing and not the place itself. It was Mum's birthday the day after we arrived, so when we went out for dinner the day before, Mum was pleasantly surprised to see her friends had travelled all the way here to see her on her birthday. While Mum was goofing off with her girlfriends, Dad and I went on a bike ride, but since Mum wasn't there, I 'borrowed' her E-Bike once more.  Z o o m - Z o o m ! ! ! I really want an E-Bike now. Swan Hill & Lake Boga. (Or BOGER.)

Image
Swan Hill, the home of Lake Boga. Okay, this is officially then prettiest place so far . In the morning, look out the club lounge window and BAM! Lake Boger. Alright, alright, I know it's actually called Lake 'Boga', but Boger is so much better. Either the lake is massive, or I've just never seen a normal sized lake. So it's massive. We were going on a bike ride around the edges of the lake, but it was very uncomfortable because my bike is definitely too small, so I tried out my Mum's E-Bike for a bit. "I don't really feel much of a difference, I'm not going any faster," "Try pressing the arrow button," "I did, still nothing!" "The UP arrow silly," "Oh okay," *PRESSES THE BUTTON* zoom -=+=- zoom "My god this is fast!" We also went into New South Wales twice!  For about two minutes, we crossed the bridge and then crossed back.  On one night, we were all starving and couldn't be bothered coo

Blog Schedule

Hello everyone, I know my blog is all over the place, (at the time of writing anyway,) and I'm posting blogs at really weird times. So I've made a little, "System,": 📣 NEW BLOG EVERY TWO DAYS! BA BA BA BA!!! 📣 I'll try my best to stick to this new schedule, and I promise there won't be a Blog-Day with no blog unless there's a good reason! ...like sitting on the couch... Nah I'm kidding, they'll be more posts from now on. 😉 (although like I said, I can't GUARANTEE a blog every second day, but if there isn't I'll make sure to give you a good reason.) See ya, Cooper.

Sovereign Hill - 5 Stars, GOLDEN Reviews.

Image
A Goldie on Our Trip Our second stop on our trip, Ballarat, was a short stop, but a very interesting one. We only stayed there for 2 nights, (or one whole day) but the main reason we went there was to go to Sovereign Hill. If you don't know, Sovereign Hill is a recreation of a town from the Gold Rush times! There was a huge town, including a gold panning river, Main St, and the mines. The mines were really interesting as we were able to go into an underground mine tour, and I learned that mining, as rich as you may become from it, is not a very nice job. You could die from the mine collapsing, water bursting through, fighting over gold like little children, inhaling a lot of dust, running out of air, and more! There was a lot of attractions, like the... wait for it... Lolly shop, post office, bank, coffin workshop, bowling alley, fire department, "Doctor,", Wheel factory, cafe, restaurant, butcher, schools, blacksmiths, theatre, *INHALE* Army, Horse carriages, and other

Heathcote ~ Gaffney's Bakery

Image
Baking Up Some Smiles Hungry. No one likes being hungry, not that I know of anyway... After arriving at Heathcote; our third location on the Big Lap, we were HUNGRY. Luckily, angels from the heavens blessed us with... drumroll please... Gaffney's Bakery. Honestly I don't really know where I'm going with this. But if we skip ahead past all my weird attempts to write something cool and get to the point, Gaffney's Bakery was A W E S O M E . I say, "Awesome," like it's a theme park or something, but it is just a bakery. But that bakery is not a bakery that is referred to as, "Just a bakery," so please ignore that fact that I just referred to it like that. This was a massive bakery and the food was very nice, especially the pies. I'm sure my Dad would agree, but then again my Dad agrees any pie is nice, even Melted Crayola & Twig Pie! "As long as they're pies, they get five out o' fives" - Dad. The bakery had great drinks,

We're Here In Daylesford! The First Stop On Our Trip!

Image
Daylesford    We're here in Daylesford, Victoria! Not only is this a new location, but it's also the first stop on the 'Travel Monkey Big Lap Express' as I'll call it. The nature here is beautiful and town is great, but the caravan park we're staying at literal WASP CITY. I woke up this morning only to see some wasps trying to break through the skylight. "Oi boss, da glass ain't openin', what we do?'                                             "Try bangin' into it again."                                                                     "Okay..." So we have to make sure we don't leave anything open for very long otherwise we'll find some uninvited visitors buzzing around. Oh, it's also my 11th birthday but who cares about that... 😐. We also walked to some mineral springs around Hepburn Springs, which is natural drinking water, but with fizz and a lemony taste. Peacocks are quite fond of walking around the j

Interior Tour

Image
Hi everyone! It's been a week since the new caravan arrived home, and Mum has already given the inside a massive makeover, and I'm glad she did because it transformed the van from a 'portable house' to a 'portable home'. But obviously, the van isn't just for looking nice, it gives you a comfy place to play cards on a rainy day; ensures you have a good night's sleep; and stores food, anywhere you take it.  I'm really happy with the indoors of the van as it has a cozy feeling lingering in the air, and I can imagine being in it for a year, which is good because that's what we're doing! One important thing about the design compare to our old caravan, is that things actually have a spot. Before when we packed up the van to get back on the road, the inside was filled with junk, if you wanted to pause the car trip and pull up on the side of the road, you couldn't - there would be bikes inside the van, the table on it's side, and a hundred th
