 Hello everyone, I know my blog is all over the place, (at the time of writing anyway,) and I'm posting blogs at really weird times. So I've made a little, "System,":

I'll try my best to stick to this new schedule, and I promise there won't be a Blog-Day with no blog unless there's a good reason!

Nah I'm kidding, they'll be more posts from now on. 😉 (although like I said, I can't GUARANTEE a blog every second day, but if there isn't I'll make sure to give you a good reason.)

  Okay... maybe it was clickbait. Scsitneits exlapin taht you're albe to raed sfutf lkie tihs, eevn tguohh the spilleng is ruibbsh. Why am I brigning tihs up? I dnnuo. Cairns was great. Not as great as my hairdresser made it out to be, but still, great. Then again, we didn't do the things she told us to do. We weren't staying in the city of Cairns, but we were close. We did a lot of bike riding, going to water's edge-ing, and trying the Mcdonalds custard raspberry pie thingo. ANYBOG, the park we staying at was right next to a nice creek, we walked and rode down there a lot, so that was cool. What was cooler though was the things we did in Cairns City. On one day we went out to lunch a seafood place on the water's edge. On another day, we took a walk along the boardwalk. There's this place called the Lagoon, which is a massive public pool with sand for a floor. Basically, it's an artificial mini ocean where the crocs don't shine. It had a really good atmo...

HERE WE GO AGAIN.

  Here we go again.... Hullo peoples. Cooper here, the King of Bogs. I know, I know, big deal Fun fact: we are going on another trip around Australia. Yes, you read that correctly. We are GOIN' AGAIN! Last time we travelled through South Australia, Northern Territory, Western Australia, and back home. But THIS time, we're gonna be checking out what we missed last time, which is the East Coast! We're going to zoom up to the top of Queensland, than slowly making our way down the coast. You can see where we're going  here,  or via the Map Tab on the blog home page. When I say "we" I mean my Dad (Troy),  my Mum (Lorna or LJ), my dog (Jaz a.k.a. BogDog) and me, Cooper. In our awesome van, we spent half of 2022 away from home, and now we're spending a quarter of 2023 doing the same - just in Queensland and New South Wales this time. How to melt an infant. (Definitely legal!!!) [Innot Hot Springs]

  Toasty. What would happen if you dropped an uncooked steak into a burning hot spring... would it cook? Maybe turn into a stir fry? What about scare everyone out of the hot spring because they thought that lil' Jimmy had an accident? Well, unfortunately we're not gonna find out. That might be a good thing actually, the steak would taste like rock water.. . Anybog, when we were at Innot Hot Springs, we found out that hotspring + closetoourcaravan = verygood . The caravan park we were staying at was home to a hot spring, which was then divided into six pools. Each pool is a different temperature, so you could spend an hour comparing them. Except the hottest 2 were adults only so no kids burn their toenails off. Bog. When we arrived, we very quickly set up and then headed over to the pools. After that we headed off for a walk, saw a sign that literally said,  "PVRAITE PROEPTRY" ... and found the "Knowledge Tree"... which was very knowledgeable. You can tell b...

The most creative name in history!.. ToWnSvIlLe.✨ [Townsville]

First person to name this font in the comments gets a virtual cookie. Now, I'm not trying to poke fun at anyone who lives in Townsville, but seriously, what is up with the name? I know it's was named after someone's last name being Towns, but in my opinion, Townsville sounds like the the most generic place in existence. If I heard "Townsville" and didn't know what it was, I'd think it was the absolute DEFAULT setting for a town. Except, that is not the case. Far from it. Townsville is great, my friends. So, let's talk about the place itself. Townsville was super cool, it remined me a lot of Palm Cove, back at Ellis Beach, but I think that was just because of the road being next to the water. TRIPLE BANGER!!! Chickens, Planes, and Dinosaurs! [Tambo, Longreach, & Winton]

  Our chicken is USELESS!      Hi! Cooper snooper here. This blog is on three locations, because I just learned the other day that 3 is greater than 1. There's no particular reason, it's not like these places are linked or anything, it's simply because we didn't stay at any of them for very long, so I'm putting them together to create an even larger pile of garbage for you to read. LET'S BEGIN. Tambo Tambo was a lil' town that we stayed at for 1 night after Charlotte Plains. It didn't have anything too special about it, except for one thing. Before dinner, we went to Ben's Chicken Racing. Like the name suggests, there was 12 chickens - all dyed different colours - racing laps around the Schnitzel Stadium. They all had very stupid names, like Apricot Chicken, who I promise is named after her dye colour and nothing else.  You could bet on a chicken, so we bet on "Sparkles" who was absolutely USELESS! 😡😡😡 #OurChickenRacerWasReallyBad Cheati...

The Air is full of Midgies! [Airlie Beach]

  Try our new special, Sunshine with a side of Awe! Airlie Beach. Very slay, as they say.  Airlie Beach had a really awesome feel in the town. There was a market every Saturday, heaps of amazing restaurants, and grass clearing next to the water. In our time, we explored the market, when on bike rides, went on some sunset cruises of debatable quality, and MORE. （⊙ｏ⊙） - One sunset cruise was nice… but just nice. After the sunset, all that was left to do was sit and wait to dock again while listening to cringe music. I don't even know what you would even call the music. Bog. - Dad & I were planning to go JetSki-ing at some point but the company said the  the water was too choppy,  so they suggested we didn’t go. Second bog. I was looking forward to that. Anyway, m y favourite part of Airlie Beach was just the atmosphere. The waterfront cafes, the bars, everything was just so alive. All Aboard the Grand Princess! [Dunedin]

  Dunedin YES. THE. BLOG. IS. BACK!!! Ba ba ba baaaaaa! I hope everybody is doing goooood. These next few blogs are going to be about my time on the Grand Princess Cruise Ship - which is going to New Zealand - with Mum, Dad, and my Nana and Poppa. Except you probably don’t care about the ship, and this blog is called Travel Monkey, so I’m just gonna talk about the offshore excursions we’ll have. If you do want a ship blog, then say so in the comments! Please, I want comments… Anyway, Dunedin was our first port after three days at sea. We hopped off the ship, and grabbed a shuttle bus to town for… 35 DOLLARS EACH?!?! Bah, can’t be bothered walking. Poppa kept on talking about once you pay the money, you can ride back and forth however many times you want, though I’m not sure when you’d use that… One bus trip later and we arrived in a very pretty park.  … we left immediately. Rain... THE MOVIE!!! [Ellis Beach]

A certain someone will understand that title. You witness a master at work. A master at doing something incredible. Something most don't have the time to do. Something most do not have the dedication to perform. That something... is writing a useless intro about masters at work. Anyway, let's talk about Ellis Beach. It is great. The caravan park is on the beach, literally. You can walk off a site and you'll be on the sand. Our site was pretty damn good, and we could always hear the waves. But, it's all very fun and games until you realise it was raining the WHOLE TIME.  It's such a nice spot, but the weather just decided to take a massive bog on it. Bruh. On the first day, we went to the nearby Palm Cove for a walk with Jazzy. Palm Cove is noice. Very noice. It wasn't raining there, because why not, WEATHERMAN?  So we hung out for a little while. My Tutorial On How to roast potatoes and transform into Shrek. (Very good tutorial) [Charlotte Plains & Artesian Hotsprings]

  And now you just rub it all in... Ello', Frank Walker from National Tiles. Just kidding, it's Cooper. We don't have the popularity or the budget to get Frank Walker up in here. Anyway, Charlotte Plains (a.k.a. the Artesian Hot springs) was rainy, but great. At the top of the field, there's three pipes PUMPING hot water into a little river. That river water than goes into bathtubs. So you can hang out in either the river itself, or be boring sit in a bathtub. All of it is naturally heated by lava, so it's pretty damn warm. It was raining for most of the time we were here, but I actually liked it. It made being outside cold, so then the hot spring felt hotter. I liked swimming about in the river hot spring, which was actually really shallow. There's a part of it that's filled with Green Mud, which is the real muddy stuff. I found some friends who shall not be named and we turned each other into Shrek... real mature, I know. We also made a BUSSIN' campfir...
