Tom Nook - I mean, Price! Yeah, Tom Price. heh...
Tom Price, hm? Yes, yes! We are back in gorge territory, oho! Geez, I'm talking like Tom Nook now...
Gorges. They are back - I repeat - they ARE BACK. In their, gorgy, gorgeous glory. Since Katherine, which was the last place we saw gorges, I thought I was 'gorged' out, and I was, really. But rather than never going to them again, we instead just took a break for a bit and now we're back at 'em. And frankly, I'm glad. I actually think Weano and Hancock Gorge were the best on this trip yet!
Weano Gorge, which leads to Handrail Pool, with pretty cool. It was like walking through a very tight hallway, while water ran underneath your feet, but the most surprising part was that at Handrail Pool, there was a... handrail. ShOcKiNg.
Mum didn't come to Hancock Gorge, so not because I borrowed her shoes for that one. Hancock required a bit of getting wet, but Kermit's Pool at the end was worth it. Hancock was a bit like a water park ride, really.
Oh! Tom Price was also a mining town, but I don't think it's connected to Port Hedland. We took a tour into the hole, I mean, district... seriously though, there's just a massive chunk of earth is missing. In fact, a mountain was turned to the exact opposite, a hole. It does kind of concern me that we're taking all this rock out of the planet which will never grow back, but I'm sure you don't want to hear about my small big worries.
Overall, Tom Price was a great place to stay, yes, yes!
Hahaha - Tom Nook!
