Perth is really amazing, restaurants, theme parks, no dogs, lovely walks - huh? No dog? Yeah, we had to have Jazzy the BogDog babysat for a week because the "resort" wasn't BogDog friendly. But the babysitter worked at Krispy Kreme and we scored some free doughnuts!

Even though we love our BogDog, it was actually quite good having her babysat. It meant that we could explore and do things in the city without having to worry about her.

Day One
Survive Until 5:00

You are a guest at a theme park called 'Adventure World'. You will need to survive until the park closes and you get kicked out. You may just think to skip the rides, but if your fun metre gets too low, you will die.

Okay, that made it sound like a horror game. Adventure World was actually really fun! We probably chose the WORST ride to go first, which was called the Goliath. It swung around but also spun. And it swung really high - to the point where it feels like you're upside down. Me did not likey. Adventure World had a Grand Prix racing track, massive water slides, those big towers where you go up high and just fall... I, uh, passed on that one.

What I've written isn't enough to describe it full detail, but Adventure World was really cool.

The Other Days
Do Stuff

We took a ferry to Rottnest Island one day, 'Kingdom of the Quokka'. The Quokka are very cute. They look like a mix between a wombat, with it's body, a kanga, because it hops around, and a koala, 'cause they're lazy looking. We hired some bikes and rode around half of the island, which was nice. The bakery and food was also good. But I don't think it was good enough to stay over night.

Back at Perth, Walking. Eating. Spa-ing. Exploring. Was what we did, which was super fun! I know I say this a lot, but would come back to Perth if I could.

On one day we went out to lunch a seafood place on the water's edge. On another day, we took a walk along the boardwalk. How to melt an infant. (Definitely legal!!!) [Innot Hot Springs]

  Toasty. What would happen if you dropped an uncooked steak into a burning hot spring... would it cook? Maybe turn into a stir fry? What about scare everyone out of the hot spring because they thought that lil' Jimmy had an accident? Well, unfortunately we're not gonna find out. That might be a good thing actually, the steak would taste like rock water.. . Anybog, when we were at Innot Hot Springs, we found out that hotspring + closetoourcaravan = verygood . The caravan park we were staying at was home to a hot spring, which was then divided into six pools. Each pool is a different temperature, so you could spend an hour comparing them. Except the hottest 2 were adults only so no kids burn their toenails off. Bog. When we arrived, we very quickly set up and then headed over to the pools. Oof. This is awesome. [Esperance]

  RAC really outdid themselves this time. Okay, so I know the last two blogs have been a bit, er, short and boring, but to tell the truth, I really didn't have much to say for those locations! Esperance, however, is a different story. We stayed at an RAC park, which always have a reputation for being really nice. This park did NOT ignore that reputation. The camp kitchens were so lovely, we actually used  them! Can you believe that? Us - use the camp kitchen! Incredible! Oh, and the pool is warm for once. I'm actually writing this in the camp kitchen. Esperance has some fantastic beaches, on our first day, which should really be a travelling day but we came a day early, we drove around a loop which showed off all the beachs. Blue Haven, Salmon Beach, Twilight Beach, this beach, that beach, oh mah gawd there's a lot. All of them, however, were magnificent! Rocks, cliffs, SAND, they have it all! HERE WE GO AGAIN.

  Here we go again.... Hullo peoples. Cooper here, the King of Bogs. I know, I know, big deal Fun fact: we are going on another trip around Australia. Yes, you read that correctly. We are GOIN' AGAIN! Last time we travelled through South Australia, Northern Territory, Western Australia, and back home. But THIS time, we're gonna be checking out what we missed last time, which is the East Coast! We're going to zoom up to the top of Queensland, than slowly making our way down the coast. Rain... THE MOVIE!!! [Ellis Beach]

A certain someone will understand that title. You witness a master at work. A master at doing something incredible. Something most don't have the time to do. Something most do not have the dedication to perform. That something... is writing a useless intro about masters at work. Anyway, let's talk about Ellis Beach. It is great. The caravan park is on the beach, literally. You can walk off a site and you'll be on the sand. Our site was pretty damn good, and we could always hear the waves. But, it's all very fun and games until you realise it was raining the WHOLE TIME.  It's such a nice spot, but the weather just decided to take a massive bog on it. Bruh. On the first day, we went to the nearby Palm Cove for a walk with Jazzy. Palm Cove is noice. Very noice. It wasn't raining there, because why not, WEATHERMAN?  So we hung out for a little while. FRY THE ENDS. GET YOURSELF SOME FRIENDS. [Rainbow Beach & Noosa]

  Nooooooooooooooooooooosa Super Dooper Dummy Koopa Trooper Cooper here! In Noosa, we had some friends. I like friends. Without friends, you'll be sad. But before we get to Noosa, we stayed shortly at Rainbow Beach. Rainbow Beach was pretty chill. Unfortunately, the sand is not rainbow, and if it was, some kid would definitely mix up the colours, so I'm glad. Just like 300 metres from the park was a little water front restaurant, which was really nice. Jazzy could come, too, so that makes it extra nice . We were all hanging out eating dinner watching the impending d o o m - I mean, storm roll in. Luckily, it got bored and went in a different direction. As for the food, very nom nom. Dad had some fish tacos or something, which was apparently "I'd have that again" worthy, in Dad terms. I had a curry, which was quite spoocy (spicy) but I was fine with it. The Air is full of Midgies! [Airlie Beach]

  Try our new special, Sunshine with a side of Awe! Airlie Beach. Very slay, as they say.  Airlie Beach had a really awesome feel in the town. There was a market every Saturday, heaps of amazing restaurants, and grass clearing next to the water. In our time, we explored the market, when on bike rides, went on some sunset cruises of debatable quality, and MORE. （⊙ｏ⊙） - One sunset cruise was nice… but just nice. After the sunset, all that was left to do was sit and wait to dock again while listening to cringe music. I don't even know what you would even call the music. Bog. - Dad & I were planning to go JetSki-ing at some point but the company said the  the water was too choppy,  so they suggested we didn’t go. Second bog. I was looking forward to that. Anyway, m y favourite part of Airlie Beach was just the atmosphere. The waterfront cafes, the bars, everything was just so alive. The show has begun! [Darlington Point]

  And so it begins... Hoi guys. I'm writing this in the car to Bourke, and we are VIBRATING. Google decided to take us on a dirt track because of some closed road and let me tell you, the wheels on the car are going round and round, round and round. Too much. Anybog, now that the road has smoothened out, let me get back to the story. Now where was I... right. I hadn't started yet. The first location on our trip was Darlington Point. We stayed there for 2 nights, and it was mostly just getting back into the swing of van life. On the full day, we took a stroll next to the Murrumbidgee River. Then we drove to Griffith, a nearby Italian town. There was a lot of Italian cafes but a lot of them weren't very appealing, so we found a snug lil' place called Limone. "Eh eh eh. Is a  limone!" *eats it and dies* ... but yeah, it was really cosy and the food was chef's kiss. The sourdough with balsamic and oil was to die for. We had also read that Griffith had a sculpt...

Never did I think a shopping centre would be so cool… [Treasure Island]

  I like me some treasure. That treasure be gold. The Gold Coast. After leaving our friends (very tragic) we went to Treasure Island, near Surfers Paradise. And oh boy, this caravan park was the most kid-friendly park I have ever seen. - One pool, with a slide. - Another pool, with a water fall. - A third pool because why not.. - A splash park. - Basketball court. - Outdoor cinema. - Jumping PILLOW. - Mini golf. - Go karts. - In-park restaurant. - Staff run activities. - Multiple playgrounds. I could go on. Anyway, apart from the caravan park, the actual location was honestly a bit “meh”. It was nice, don’t get me wrong, but this was the first place that felt like a city. Or, Surfers Paradise did, anyway. Treasure Island was alright . While we were here, we met up with a cousin of mine, Nick. We had lunch with him, and then walked down the beach, as there was currently an art festival thingo, so there was a bunch of artworks to look at, though some were better than others. Some pie...
